Compassionate Cooks

"A principle is a principle, and in no case can it be watered down because of our incapacity to live it in practice. We have to strive to achieve it, and the striving should be conscious, deliberate and hard."

Vegetarian Recipes - Our Online Cookbook

Think of our recipes as an online cookbook from which you get to pick exactly the dishes you want to make. Each set of 5 (sometimes 6) recipes is only $5, and every single recipe has been tested to perfection and taught in our classes. We stand behind the value of our recipes and include serving suggestions, variations, descriptions of ingredients that may be unfamiliar to you, and suggestions of where to find them in the store.

NOTE: Many of our recipes are appropriate for those following McDougall, Fuhrman, or Ornish plans in that they do not have any added oil. Those that do contain added oil can be easily modified to eliminate it altogether, particularly those calling for oil to start a saute. Simply use water or broth instead.
